Use: Caramel colour is found in many commercially produced foods and beverages, including batters, beer, brown bread, buns, chocolate, cookies, cough drops, spirits and liquor such as brandy, rum, and whisky, chocolate-flavoured confectionery and coatings, custards, decorations, fillings and toppings, potato chips.
